*THE EXPLOSION OF IMMORALITY AS THE AGE ENDS*
Ezekiel 16: 49-50 reveals the sins of Sodom and other cities of the plain. They experienced the anger of God with total destruction. Likewise the wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the ungodliness and wickedness of people. It is also to those who suppress the truth by their wickedness, since what may be known about God is plain to them. Yes, God made it plain to them. But they chose the way they want to go. Since the creation of the world, God’s invisible qualities, his eternal power and divine nature have been clearly seen; being understood from what he has made, so that people are without excuse. Although the people know God, they neither glorified him as God; nor gave thanks to him. Their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts are thus darkened. These same people claim to be wise, but they are fools. They exchanged the glory of the Immortal (Almighty) God for images. For this cause, God gave them up to their sinful desires (See Rom.1:20-32).
We are living in a time similar to what Noah and Lot witnessed just before God destroyed their worlds. No doubt, you can see the depth at which evil permeates our society. One can no longer tune the television without seeing a program that has no sexual undertones. Magazines today are filled with stories, photos that would shock the people of past generations. I’m sure those people from previous generations are asking what God is waiting for to destroy our world as he intervened before. The devil has also designed the internet to offer a veritable buffet of perversion. In this age, it has reached the point that it is nearly impossible for a woman to find shirts or blouses that cover her midriff. Virtually all female wears shockingly reveal female private areas in a tantalizing manner. Children are made to be sexy even before they are capable of understanding what ‘sexy’ means. The concept of homosexuality is no longer new; even though it existed in ancient times. Near the fall of any dominant society, gay lifestyle flourished. Be it Sodom, Gomorra, ancient Kingdoms this same lifestyle was an important indicator to those with foresight that their days were numbered. This abomination has been adopted and cerebrated by our modern society. Consequently, sexual immoralities have become the order of the day. Girls’ cherish of chaste and dignity of womanhood is long gone. Men have also lost the control of their emotions. It is obvious that the youths of today don’t see pre-marital sex as an immoral act. See Acts.15:29; 1 Cor.10:18. The decadence of morality among the youths of this era has reached an alarming level such that even the blind can see it.
Now let us examine the media houses. The roles of the media in the society are to inform, educate, entertain and serve as the watchdog of the society. Unfortunately, it is no longer so. The entertainment industry for example, through music videos, movies and some publications, has successfully polluted the minds of the people. It is this pollution that catalyzed indecency in dressing, alcoholism and intake of other harmful intoxicants like hard drugs. It is this powerful evil influence that pushes the youths to model their lives in accordance to any of their favourite actor, actress, musician, etc - all in the name of role model. It makes them to behave, talk, walk like their unworthy role model with the highest sense of justification.
The prophet of our age, *Neal Frisby, has this to say in Scroll #245 paragraph 3 – Immorality – Wickedness*.
"In the 1960s, I was piercing through the shadows and saw the great immorality of today!
It has reached to a boiling point and the fierce indignation of God’s judgment is falling and will increase as the months ahead pass. The youths are confronted with every type of evil desire, perversion, ritual, sorcery and sexual sensuality of all types! The beast nature is surely rising. Drugs are consuming our youths. The young boys and girls are selling their bodies as prostitutes to pay for their habits. Perilous and crisis times are advancing into a nightmare in this age"– End of quote.
It is interesting that all the things that would have been a cause for great shame, embarrassment in a morally healthy society are done with no sense of shame or embarrassment in our society. We live in a world that has lost its moral bearing; a world that doesn’t know right from wrong. This is a world where professional photographers and bakers are made to go against their personal and religious beliefs to take pictures and bake for gay marriages.
*A WORLD GONE MAD*
In New Hampshire, a 17 year old girl seeks to get even with her mother for an unresolved argument they had two days earlier. She poisoned her mother’s drink with a household disinfectant.
You’re now welcome to the age of madness in which seemingly normal, everyday people emotionally ‘flip out’, ‘go wild’ and do the unthinkable. This is an evil among all things that are done under the sun that there is one event to all: Yes also the heart of the sons of men is full of evil and madness is in their heart while they live and after that, they go to the dead (Eccl.9:3). Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore men’s heart tends to do evil (Eccl.8:11).
A governing body in Colorado ruled that a 6-year old boy who thinks he’s a girl has the right to use the girls’ bathroom at his elementary school. The Colorado Division of Civil Rights said that denying him that right “creates an environment rife with harassment” and is akin to racial segregation. The public majority already agrees that denying same-sex couples the right to marry is exactly like prohibiting interracial marriage. And denying someone access to a public bathroom on the basis of biology is just like excluding blacks from white. They are determined to ensure that these children grow up in a world where sex confusion is welcome.
What about the girl who feels awkward about having a boy walk in, while she’s using the bathroom? Sorry, she is the one who needs to adjust her thinking and not the boy.
Our society has gone too far and can never turn back the clock. But you have a choice not to be a slave who allows the gods of this world to rule your mind and shape you in the way they see fit. You also have the choice of changing your path. Immorality explosion is rolling across the world like a fire ball which can never be
stopped. But you are able to make a great choice today. Make a wise and in-depth choice about your life. The only question left is whether you choose to be in darkness, unhappiness and depression. Or whether you will break through those chains and choose happiness, joy and peace that is in Christ Jesus and live. The choice is yours to make.
